The Family Guy: Volume Five DVD released in the United Kingdom on October 22nd, 2007[59] and in North America on November 13th, 2007.[60] It has all 21 episodes of season 5 on three discs presented in both anamorphic widescreen and full frame. Special features include commentary on select episodes by show creator Seth MacFarlane and various crew members, animatics for "Stewie Loves Lois," deleted scenes, a set tour hosted by executive producer Chris Sheridan and multi-angle scene studies. Additionally, the set features a preview of the direct-to-DVD film Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story, which was released on September 23rd, 2008.[61]

Season six is without a doubt one of the most ambitious seasons, as it's episodes form a fifteen minute long mini-movie. Stewie joins the army, then Peter buys his own tank and gets addicted to being a superhero. There's also a musical episode, Brian and Stewie is locked in a bank vault and Stewie falls in love with a lesbian, thus ruining Brian's chances at getting her pregnant.
